Friday's Five Reasons I Love November

1) Remembrance Day
This will always be on the top of my list. I have so much respect for veterans and soldiers because they're risking themselves for us. I get extremely offended when people degrade soldiers as 'stupid people for not having a post-secondary plan' or something along the lines of that. There's one quote that hits me hard and to this day I still remember it and that's "If you can't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them".

2) Early Christmas Spirts
I am a Christmas person. As soon as December hits, I'm in the best mood ever! Literally, a smile plastered on my face. A lot of people get me to do stuff for them around this time because they know how friendly I get during Christmas... tsk tsk. I got so bored, I already made my Christmas shopping list which I'm dead set on - unless something dramatically changes. I'm thinking of getting a head start this year.

3) MORE cozy night-ins
I'm lazy and November equals colder days. Hellooooo, green tea and a nice book!
(oh, and hello to you too, boyfriend :P)

4. 2014 Planning
December is so hectic in terms of the holidays, I tend to plan my next year in November. I do get excited because I love challenging myself and making new changes to my life and self.

5. Family gatherings
For some reason, my family loves to gather around in November and rarely in December... I have no idea why but as my family is so distant from each other, it's nice.
