ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jess, and I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm your typical 21 years student blogger studying Human Resources and Labour Relations.

♥ ♥ ♥

I love... Vancouver, Canada, Vancouver Canucks, hockey, sushi (duh!), blogging, reading, pay day, the smell/sound of rain, thunderstorms, (online) shopping, hanging out with friends, Harry Potter, learning (but not studying), history, World War II, scented candles, social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), YVR, airports, Matilda, junk food, traveling, cultural studies, India, England, steak (mmmm...), TV shows (Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, Breaking Bad, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, The Simpsons, Border Security and Dragons' Den), Christmas,Bhangra dancing, vlogging, Hello Kitty, stuffed animals... and, The Sims 3!

♥ ♥ ♥

I dislike... mathematics, public transit, rude people, dishonest people, ego maniacs, cold weather aka winter, science, my bank account running low, being low or out of inspiration/motivation, waking up early mornings, not getting enough sleep, poor quality sushi, finding clothes that don't fit me, finding hair in my food or on the table, drinking water/soft drinks out of mugs, disrespectful people, gossip, how distant I can get between the people I care about, being in the dark, walking my dog on cold days, when my Sims games are extremely slow/laggy, when people take advantage of my connections/skills, messy/disorganized places,  and... driving (especially parking!).

♥ ♥ ♥

I've been blogging for about ~10 years. I started off with MSN Space (high five if you remember that!) and gradually moved towards Xanga, LiveJournal, Blogger, Wordpress and now I'm back on Blogger. I used to blog about my life but gradually, I've expanded towards opinions, reviews, beauty, fashion, etc.

5 Random Facts:
  1. I have small feet. My size is actually size 2 kids. I can't fit into Women's size 5.
  2. My love for WWII began in the 3rd grade when I found a book about the Holocaust.
  3. My parents wanted to name me either Vivian or Jennifer. Jessica was a last minute decision.
  4. I don't know how to talk to girls. Growing up, I've been surrounded by guys (my brother, my cousins and their male friends) so befriending guys is easier for me. With girls, I don't know what to talk about so it leads to awkward small talk and eventually I'll give off this bad vibe.
  5. I love Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers. That comes after sushi.
